And, Andy Burnham steps up to the helm!
So, Andy Burnham- who behaves, as I type, as if asleep on the issue- is the UK going to persist with this farce that israel is still- was ever!- any sort of an ally? We remember that Lammy, who Andy did have the good sense to remove from his Cabinet, liked to insist that Genocide, as was at that moment being ruled upon by the highest of international courts, was never about the numbers... but we had hoped better of you, Andy.
So, as Andy makes 'significant' moves to right the dodgy, not-so-very Good Ship UK, reconsiders where the deckchairs may best not catch fire, or be washed away in the upcoming floods, what of our overseas responsibilities? How about tinkering with the overseas' aid budget, squeaking it back up to its former 7% (GNI), looking more honestly at the multiple causes behind international migration patterns, proactive thinking as opposed to reactive! Are we to persevere with this pretence that quite all those refugees, moving about the planet, present as the root to all of Britain's woes? Imagine- hypothetically, of course- should the UK, through some sort of alchemy, reduce an influx of asylum-seekers to any level 'acceptable' to any sort of reactionary mind, what then? So less overseas' aid and more for the weapons that might create greater numbers of asylum seekers, is it? What then, when the economy continues to bump along the bottom, or conceivably digs itself yet deeper into track? Will we be rolling out the likes of Wheelie-bin Starmer, to scrub up phrases like, 'grow the economy?' Hope the population doesn't notice? Pretend like we haven't realised that we've also ripped the bottom out of the economy, depopulated the fraying social blanket?
At the very least, Clacton's citizens will have policed their beaches to the maximum, with pitch-fork wielding white (mostly) males. Guarding the sands, lest another nurse or doctor, another Deliveroo driver, another late-night taxi driver, another highly qualified asylum seeker, should brave yet another ocean crossing. Imagine, close our eyes to do so, all of those non-white skins not clogging up our surgeries, no longer delivering healthcare, no longer clogging up our cheaper food outlets, no longer serving customers, no longer rusting up the delivery of so much of the UK's infrastructure, no longer delivering, all those brown faces at the hospital no longer administering care! Imagine them all gone, deported back to another beach in another country, or perhaps back to the torture that they were fleeing, back to the Genocide that the UK continues to fund, and think... just for a moment, think... who's going to fill the holes? Who? 'No,' pitch-fork wielding man, 'standing upon the sand,' only on the more clement of days, of course, 'standing there is not going to pay you a wage.' Unless, you're thinking of joining the local Life Boat crew... no, didn't think so? Oops! And, that's Nigel, jetting off to prostrate himself at the foot of some mighty orange demigod, so no answers from that quarter, either. Go on, Tommy, tell them who to target next. Stir up the cauldron of hatred, before it goes cold, why not? Quick, distract! Deflect!
Because, there's only so many card-armed octogenarian 'terrorists' that our prisons can hold. What's that you say, Andy, release that violent male rapist, clear out space for that sleeper cell agent- don't let the wrinkles fool you, that card looks mighty sharp at the corner, could have someone's eye out! You absolutely certain that Cooper and Mamood are up to the task, really worth keeping? We realise that Cooper has stepped away from her role of defining who is the greatest threat but shouldn't we just interrogate a little further, before she wipes away the blood stains. Heath and Social Care? Have you looked at her record as Home Secretary? Hope you're not judging her, solely on her appearances on Good Morning Britain. Because we were wondering if there might not be some sort of conflict of interests, what with her being interviewed by 'journalist' Ed Balls. I say, 'journalist'...
Or, Andy, you could go with the indiscriminate bombing of Palestinian families sleeping in tents, in israeli-designated refugee camps. Or the multiple instances of Palestinians running towards the scarce scraps of food being dangled as bait at 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation' posts, whilst iOF killers and other hired ethnosuprremacists hone their sniper 'abilities.' Or the dropping of 1,000 pound bombs, upon children, women and non-combatant males sheltering in wrecked school buildings. Or the ethnosupremacist entity's targeting of places of worship. Or the killing sprees now regularly undertaken by marauding israeli iOF in Lebanon, or the West Bank. Or the filmed destruction of humanitarian aid parcels, by israeli families, whilst iOF militia stand by with rifles at the ready, should an aid worker dare to step out of line. Or the thoroughly documented Flour Massacre? Or the multiple 'ceasefire' violations, always by trigger-happy israeli settlers or iOF personnel armed to the teeth. Or, just a thought, there's the multiple documented cases of summary executions being routinely carried out by the iOF.
And, Andy, another ally issue here, do we suppose Trump's betting upon any or all of this, snuffling away his ill-gotten gains, whilst all the promises the World, and us, Andy, and the UK, pledged to humanity are just being set aside? Sanction the guardians of humanity whilst the contagion spreads unchecked? Of course, even minor historians will have recognised that Balfour had already poisoned that particular well.
Or, again, bit more sensitive, again, what with Tony's involvement- but then that's got to be more greed-based, right? The stated plan to Ethnically Cleanse the entire Gaza Strip, under Trump's Board of Peace... faux-peace, and to repurpose the land as a holiday destination. Business is business, eh, Sir Tony? Still an ally, Andy? Imagine, eyes closed again, please, sun-lounger stretched out upon those hauntingly red sands. Towering palms leeching up the bodily nutrients of the thousands upon thousands of shattered corpses. Not to everyone's taste, of course, but we've all seen more than one or two iOF brutes who might benefit from the therapy. And, again, whisper it, don't let everyone hear, not all of those murdering brutes' battalions were strictly israeli, were they? Wink, wink, best not to advertise the fact that the UK's Labour Government is kosher with UK nationals murdering Palestinian infants, travelling overseas, as mercenaries and terrorising on behalf of the israeli entity. Bit of a can of worms, that one. Just get the tiniest inkling that you're not gonna prosecute, are you, risk another 'antisemitism' barrage from JHB! And, we're guessing that the Labour Government's decision not to pursue those, is it 2,000+, UK War Criminals isn't based upon any due regard for international law. Damned inconvenience, isn't it, international law, when the 'brutes' it was intended to keep in their place, turn it upon the master race? Might have to fashion our own 'bill of rights,' sort of thing, if we're ever going to be able to fudge our way through that conundrum. Stepping rather too closely upon Starmer's toes, are we, maybe? Oops! Sensitive, we understand, but you do both still shelter under the standard of 'New Labour' am I right? Keep Tony's name out of it, best we can, we think it's for best.
Then, there's the looting of Palestinian homes by zionists- difficult to blame just the israelis, now we know that some of them were 'ours, UK citizens, 'our's,' well far more your's than mine. Some, a tiny minority, but a significant one! Over 2,000! Not really such a tiny number, is it? Specially when they're of the violent militia types. Touchy subject, gives rise to further questions about troop behaviour in Iraq and Afghanistan, all over again, doesn't it? Opening up all those wounds! Or there's the filmed use of human shields, you know, civilians tied to the front of tanks and stuff. Or the trussing up of Palestinian civilians and sending them into wrecked infrastructure to check for unexploded munitions. Or, get this, the filmed use of white phosphorous on civilian populations. Seriously, is it not also a crime when used upon actual combatants, although we know, don't we, that only israel has genuine combatants on the ground, and they're most unlikely to use it upon themselves... Or... just a thought here. Are we permitted to broach the Hannibal Protocol at this juncture? Not going to be labelled as antisemitic again, are we, if we dare to point out that all those atomised and melted bodies, all those twisted vehicles- 7th October 2023- might not have been caused through the use of the sort of hand weapons that could have been carried over on hang gliders. Seriously, have you seen those vehicles? Andy! Wake up!
But, while we are daring to peek behind the curtains, just to peek, mind, might we not also dare to remind the nation- I say 'remind,' that we've still to have debunked the original broadcast? Seriously, Andy, you know, we know, and we both know that the other knows, it never... actually... happened... did it? We both recognised that thirty-four months is somewhat of a duration to have passed but, don't you think we owe it to the nation? We wouldn't be quite so keen, if it wasn't for the fact that so very much faux-justification was pinned upon that false claim and, you did say that the UK 'got it wrong' with regards to its response to the israeli Genocide (although, still, you cower from using the actual word- it's just a word, Andy. And, it is the right one... Genocide!). So, let's grit our collective teeth and utter the words... 'the forty beheaded babies never... really... happened!' Never! None! Not thirty-nine, not thirty, not nineteen, not eighteen, not ten, not five... none! And, that's from israeli sources, Haaretz and B'Tselem. And, what with ol' Joe lying through his gritted teeth about having seen the filmed evidence! Ol' honest Joe, another of the UK's impeccable allies! Truth be known, the propagandists are struggling with establishing any proven cases of actual rape. It's Hamas's word against the ethnosupremacist entity and again, truth be known, most independent observers would rather get their information from Hamas than from the israeli machine. Another conundrum for the UK's musings upon what might constitute actual terrorism, and what might not, eh? Quite possibly, it's where Trump gleaned his 'idea' that 'a lie repeated often enough becomes truth,' then Johnson, then ol' Starmer, of course... except, really, they don't! So, no beheaded Babies!- not at the hands of Hamas or the Palestinians, anyway. And, as of this moment, no established certainties of rape! Except, again, at the hands of israelis. We know that happened, continues to happen, because they often brag about it, sometimes even film it. Pot and kettle sort of stuff, don't we think?... one tinsy winsy kettle and one God-almighty mountain of a pot! A pot that keeps on smashing on down, relentlessly, upon a repeatedly flattened and tinsy-tinsy-winsy-winsy kettle. Whilst whining, on and on, about being the poor victim. 'Antisemitism! Don't know if you recall, Andy, but there was that case- one amongst many, we know- of filmed rape inside Sde Teiman, nine israeli reservists- ring any bells yet, Andy?- filmed and broadcast on israel's Channel 12 (6th August 2024). Yes, you recall, know you do, we all saw it, didn't we? Couple of names here, Andy, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, just two amongst the Genocidal throngs of israelis. Gvir said that, 'any action in the name of security of the 'state''- he called it a 'state'- 'is permissable.' Gvir referred to the rapists, and torturers, as 'our best heroes.' 'Yes, if he is Nukba, everything is legitimate to do. Everything!' Smotrich, for his part, called for an, 'immediate 'criminal' investigation to uncover the source of the leak- yes, he did use the term 'criminal.' Seriously misreading the international stage, he said that the filmed rape had, 'hugely damaged israel, internationally.' Mmm, but did it? Netanyahu said, 'the 'state' of israel must pursue its enemies, not its 'heroic heroes.' Bit of serious bubble thinking there, don't you think? Members of the israeli public broke into the base to free the perpetrators. Recall the outcome, Andy, bet you do? Yup, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, she of the source of the leak, disappeared for days, under military arrest. She was charged with the 'obstruction of justice, fraud, breach of trust, abuse of office and unlawful exposure,' quite a mouthful. Oh, and she was 'dismissed from military service.' So, no more killing of civilians for her, unless she wishes to 'make amends' and to join the israeli settlers. The rapists had all charges of rape or sexual assault dropped- 'exceptional circumstances, problems with the evidence,' stating that the leak had 'compromised their 'rights' to a fair trial, blah, blah, blah. The issue of 'rights' was, evidently, quite different for the Palestinian hostage, who sustained seven broken ribs, a seriously perforated rectal wall, requiring abdominal surgery, the fitting of a temporary stoma so that the tears could heal, several blood transfusions, and three months of hospital care. Terrorism! Right there for you, Andy. None of that octogenarians with pieces of card nonsense to have to defend. Quietly give Cooper the boot, something to muse upon, to somewhere she can do far less damage to the UK's international standing. What d'you say, Andy?
No sense in being hoist by someone else's petard, not when you've only just taken up the reins, is there, Andy? Bit of a cultured cross reference there, for those that might appreciate it.
I doubt that New Labour, under any of its dubious guises, would wish to have to deal with such an individual, or such a cultured mind, but Brian Eno once said something along the lines of, 'it's all the same issue.' Probably a touch deep for some of the team, but you get the gist. Reluctant as I am to attempt to point the finger, New Labour's 'all the same issue' problem should/might/could be summed up under the rather heavy damnation, of 'lobbyists!' In fact, no names- not even Luke Akehurst, Steve Reed, hush-hush, forget I even mentioned them- but, some of we outsiders might be so bold as to suggest that several of the 'team' are far more 'lobbyists' than ever they were 'public servants.' So, Lobbyists, maybe get rid of the lot of them and just for starters? What d'you think? Get rid of their funding, get rid of their pseudo-expert advise. And re-behold the horizon afresh. The parched and burned and devoid of life horizon. And, more carefully, begin to repack those vacated posts with actual experts in their fields. Luke and Steve et al will be just fine, trotting back to their pay-masters, those sorts always are. You can invite them back for birthdays, special occasions, that sort of thing, just don't consider asking them to provide any useful input. Check you're up to speed with the definition of 'terrorism,' the definition of 'an ally.' Remember, the World is watching, Andy. And, we think, the honeymoon is now, likely, at an end.
Re-behold 'Britain's- right foot 'n' all that- green and (not quite so) pleasant land! And, as you scan the bleakness. listen and search for the absence of bees, specifically those of the 'honey' variety. Search those sprouting but drooping Buddeia bushes- recall, if you will, the term, 'butterfly bush'- see if you just can't find yourself one of those absent non-white varieties of butterflies. Perhaps, reconsider the term, 'guardians of the countryside' when you contemplate the lack of wildlife, the countless volumes of effluent run-off that graces our waterways. You know, you could probably check this one, not so many Sundays ago, one of the 'jolly' farmer types that tends to populate BBC Radio 4's early morning output, actually uttered the words- the words, or rather the sentiment, sticks in my mind for some reason- 'No protein to be found in birds or butterflies, so we don't worry about those around here.' Could be paraphrasing the chap, don't know, but either way, seriously? And, I don't recall the presenter challenging him upon it, either. In truth, I didn't listen far beyond that, perhaps to discover that he was actually some sort of chicken (bird) farmer, and that nobody had dared to tell him. Imagine he meant 'no wild birds,' don't you? We can imagine that there's a fair ol' volume of Monsato-become-Bayer pesticide accompanying his effluent run-off, into the waterways!
And, Brian Eno-styled, we could draw in the water companies, couldn't we? Water companies and that curious beast, Ofwat, always just so very many steps behind the curve. What d'you think, Andy, stop up the cash leaks into the pockets of the CEOs, the effluent leaks into our rivers and oceans, the poisonous leakage of pseudo-expertise and funds into the pockets and minds of, well, just so many of your New Labour team, as it happens? Instead of the UK's never-never reservoirs reverting, instead, to huge volumes of monies into the pockets of CEOs and shareholders, what d'yer say, renationalise and dig a few actual water-based reservoirs? I mean, I'm not an expert, as such, but, in the context of the UK's waterways, even I might have more useful input to provide, than some of your lobby, so termed, 'experts.' And then there's the continents most expensive railways to consider. And the UK's energy infrastructure, you know, energy of the type that's not gonna crisp up the landscape, any more, for next year's inevitable wildfires. An idea? What d'you think, Andy? No! Remember, we talked about circumventing all that posh-suited lobbyists's pseudo-science? Time to move on! Breath the air, careful, not that smoky stuff! Maybe wait for a change of wind first. Step away from that outflow pipe.
Treat the cancers that the sciences have conquered, alongside those that have plagued the high streets, and so many lives, in the form of betting dens, uglying up every second street corner. 'Remember to take a break' but then, why not extend that break, fashion it into something of a more sustained termination? All of those pseudo'expert'-advisers working for private health'care,' or the gambling cartels, it might just be an idea to forego those as well, just a thought, Andy.
And, if you ever do consider your stated commitment to the UK's 'democracy'- which, we're already beginning fear your own personal-funding model would seem to contradict- if... if... if you are to ever hope to get a genuine people's parliament message across, Labour are going to have to do some serious somethings about the Mainstream Media! Tricky, we understand, we've only just taken more than a peek into your own funding model, but, if the same shrinking cabal owns and controls almost everything- stating the obvious here, Andy- how are we to ever to begin to even identify where those roots of decay are most established? No, Andy, stop! Stop right now, chumming up to Mr Myrie, stop right there! Remember, we weren't going to spend so much time and energy with the lobby journos, were we? Remember! As a rule of thumb, just a general rule, you must understand: where the funds are considerably greater, where the funders are the same funders threaded through the entire upper echelons of everything, we think that wouldn't be such an awful starting point for identifying said 'rot.' No, slam the door hard on that pointy shoe; JHB, we think, is far more likely to be funded by those wrong sorts, the big funders, the less democratic ones. And, ask Clive about his BBC's coverage of the collapse of Building 7. Another right ol' can, there! No, we know Mr Myrie wasn't in involved in that particular broadcst, but he's there now. And, he is the face of BBC Verify, so ask him to verify the BBC'c 'broadcasting error,' stance. And, the 'forty beheaded babies,' whilst we're at it, why not? Shame! We could've done with a bit of that manner of predictive 'foresight' right back in the 1970's. Save a number of those wildfires from ever have occurred. The BBC's rebuff of 'broadcast error,' really does not even begin to address that X-file, does it? Dig a bit! Throw it to a Question Time audience, a panel that isn't jammed solid with the faces we all associate with pro-establishment figures. No Fiona Bruce! Just plucking an idea out of the aether, but how's about, I dunno, one of the many characters the BBC always used to put so much store in, until the onset of the israeli Genocide, or the Corbyn leadership of the actual Labour Party, when suddenly all of those treasured-up-till-that-point figures miraculously found themselves rebranded as antisemitic. Give it a go, why not? Step back to that greener past.
So, just a starting suggestion, then, you have to understand: how's about a commitment to no more lobbyists threaded throughout the House, absolutely no lobbyist funding of MPs. We want them serving the right 'nation,' don't we? Proper experts advising proper politicians, serving genuinely local constituents? You know, decades too late, of course- may already be too late- but it just might start to reap a few rewards. Tiny Green shoots of recovery...
